Earth Cube Action Contest

Each year in mid-May the Catholic community and all people of good will are invited to focus on ecological stewardship in the spirit of Pope Francis’s encyclical Laudato Si’: On Care for Our Common Home. To end the special year long celebration of the document’s 5th anniversary, a new platform to take action was launched on May 25, 2021. The Laudato Si’ Action Platform invites us to grow through the crisis of the current moment by praying, reflecting, and building together a healthier planet today and preparing for a better future tomorrow.

To celebrate the launch of the Laudato Si’ Action Platform, we are opening a design contest for “kids” of all ages.

Imagine if we all rolled The Earth Cube every day this year and let it inspire new steps in our care for creation!

Kids: Submit Your Own Earth Cube Artwork

“Kids” of all ages are invited to submit a drawing, artwork, or picture with one of the phrases of The Earth Cube through the end of the worldwide celebration of the Season of Creation (October 4, 2021). Periodically we will mail a package of physical Earth Cubes among entries submitted.
